Twin Moons is the hybrid bass music incarnation of Dylan Eiland, a veteran electronic music producer who has created top notch tunes under a number of aliases over the last 10 years. It was under the moniker Le Castle Vania that Dylan first built a name for himself on the worldwide stage of electronic music. With releases on iconic labels such as deadmau5’s Mau5trap Records and his own imprint Always Never Records and remixes for the likes of EDM superstars like Kaskade, Eiland has built up a sizable following for his unique brand of insuppressible dance vibes.

After years of busy tour schedules, which saw him perform on every inhabited continent and at major music festivals such as EDC, Ultra, Electric Zoo and major nationwide tours like the Vans Warped Tour, Eiland has taken to new creative challenges. Recently Eiland took a break from the road life to pursue his log time interest in composing music for film. Most notably has been his work on the Keanu Reeves shoot em up action thriller, John Wick. The breakout success of the film and Eiland’s musical contributions to the score led to him receiving an invitation to contribute original music for the 2017 sequel, aptly named, John Wick: Chapter Two in which Eiland was given an on-screen appearance playing himself during one of the film’s seminal fight scenes. His constant desire to explore new musical challenges has also lead to him scoring original music for a number of video games including Payday 2, ROM Extraction, and the John Wick Virtual Reality Experience.

While Eiland intends to continue creating the dancefloor melting, four on the floor music he’s known for under the name Le Castle Vania, it’s with the new alias, Twin Moons, that he intends to stretch his creative landscape by exploring new styles of music across the spectrum of bass music. Twin Moons’ first release, “First Contact” has received over a million plays on Spotify in just a few short months proving that his desire to explore new territory is resonating with music fans around the world. This resonance hasn’t gone unnoticed. Twin Moons was hand selected by highly respected champion of the bass music scene, Bro Safari, to remix his recent single “Reality.” Pushing both his own boundaries as well as those of the genres he mashes together, Twin Moons is now set to release his first ep “Rising” a collection of 5 songs which fuses elements of Hybrid Trap and Dubstep with otherworldly cinematic landscapes. There’s no question that with this new forward-driven release and the other material he’s set to release as 2017 unfolds, Twin Moons is definitely one to watch.
